Serving Faithfully

Lk 16:15 *And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.* The above scripture gives us a snap of what is happening in the World nowadays, even the believers' are under the gin without them knowing, spiritual Life style nowadays is full striking results. Where is Holiness nowadays? People are moving using their own fables and fancies, to maintain what is perfect before God is no more, peter said in *2peter 1:16  Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy*, why don't we esteem what is good before our Supreme Being *(Shaper)*? The convoy of believers' today is full contempt conversation before Almighty God. We are dwelling on entities that are highly esteemed by men, yet we hamper ourselves with our fancies' claiming and boasting out that we're okay, the prophet of God Isaiah said 30:*Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD,...

Holiness

“Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”   — 1 Peter 1:16 (KJV ) Holiness is a transaction that allows men to be identified with the Most High God, it entails us walking in the counsels of God and perusing His desires, it's a pillar in the saints that makes them have a firm ground, it's a gown that sorrounds the saints. A son or daughter of Jesus Christ will walk in fear of God notwithstanding any form of wickedness and evil to pollute them, holiness creates an environment for the manifestation of the Holy spirit and this can be brought by setting ourselves from unholy lifestyle and sanctification of the spirit. It's in the DNA that children should resemble their fathers, and anyone born of God and spirit will bring forth fruits and character that is of the spirit.  “ That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”   — John 3:6 (KJV) Its the renewal of the soul that brings men to a level that God can be identified with...

The Walk of Faith

Image
It's no doubt that our life is a pilgrimage, we find a path to follow unto a hope that is laid up in heaven. This walk needs essential preparation and determination to see that one reaches the end. It's wrong for one to start a project and fail halfway through it,  Luke 14 (KJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ²⁸ For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? ²⁹ Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, ³⁰ Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. It's therefore important to put forth a strong faith and will to follow Christ, to leave all behind and look upon the son of Man.   “And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.”   — Luke 14:27 (KJV) Today we are going to see the three basic things we need to have a successful walk that is pleasing to God. Knowledge Knowledge simply means...

Those that are in Christ

“ There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”   — Romans 8:1 (KJV) Paul writes to the church of Rome reminding them of what grace is upon their souls and its Justification not by their own merit but the workmanship of Christ at the cross. God by default judges all creation, men are born in sin and their hearts stray further from Him by the minute. It's through Jesus Christ that we get salvation and baptism of fire of the Holy spirit being separated from the nations to be a royal priesthood and partakers of the new covenant. Condemnation is not part of the believers path but we look upon christ for He offered mercy and grace, our High priest always interceding for us.

Importance of The Holy Spirit.

Is it favor 🤔 Is it grace🤗 or its the multitude of God's love eternal to eternal, never ending, it's mercy and honor from the Father to bestow His Holy Spirit upon our lives. I look upon the joy upon the church, ordinary men sealed by God by the evidence of His Spirit upon their souls.  “ In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,”   — Ephesians 1:13 (KJV) “And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”   — Ephesians 4:30 (KJV) It is a requirement for every one born of God to have the power of the Holy spirit for it is our Guide to our pilgrimage. Why is the Spirit Important He is a comforter, during the final days of Jesus walking on earth He told the disciples that He would send a comforter that they would never be alone or feel abandoned. He was the spirit of truth to lead us into the path ...

Fear of the Lord

“ The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”   — Proverbs 1:7 (KJV) To fear the Lord does not mean being scared of God, yes He is Mighty, terrible surrounded by thunder and voice of mighty waters pertaining several verses of the scripture and its true. He is also a Father that takes pride in a personal relationship with Him, He offered heavens best Jesus Christ to atone for our sins. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, its a Holy fear of not wanting to dishonor the King, its a desire to do the will of God, its a foundation of belief and hope, its the first steps to true freedom. Its the law of God  “Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.”   — Deuteronomy 13:4 (KJV)  In doing so we align ourselves in direct path of a faithful relationship and by doing so we invite God upon our life, to redeem us f...

Obedience better than sacrifice

Obedience is better for men for its benefits are great, its highly favored by God and men, soldiers are able to do under orders from their seniors, government regulations are adhered to by the citizens and in the realm of the spirit we find those in occult and darkness obey their masters regardless of ethics and humanity  “ And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.”   — 1 Samuel 15:22 (KJV) Abraham our hero and father of faith demonstrated obedience unto God, He deemed it worthy to obey the one who gives  the sacrifice than the sacrifice itself.  “ And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.”   — Genesis 22:6 (KJV) It is by the obedience of Abraham that God chose his bloodline of which the...
