Importance of The Holy Spirit.

Is it favor 🤔 Is it grace🤗 or its the multitude of God's love eternal to eternal, never ending, it's mercy and honor from the Father to bestow His Holy Spirit upon our lives. I look upon the joy upon the church, ordinary men sealed by God by the evidence of His Spirit upon their souls.
 “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,”

“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”
  — Ephesians 4:30 (KJV)
It is a requirement for every one born of God to have the power of the Holy spirit for it is our Guide to our pilgrimage.

Why is the Spirit Important
He is a comforter, during the final days of Jesus walking on earth He told the disciples that He would send a comforter that they would never be alone or feel abandoned. He was the spirit of truth to lead us into the path of righteousness.

¹⁶ And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
¹⁷ Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

The spirit is a seal, the same way during the end times, those who belong to the devil will have a mark with them. God has a mark for His sons and daughters to separate them, sheep from goats, the elect and the ones to be condemned

He is a teacher to lead us
He is Christ unlimited
He brings us unto maturity and fruitfulness
He is wisdom and knowledge
He was there at the beginning and will be at the end. Genesis starts by telling us the Spirit was hovering upon the waters

The Spirit does more than what we could imagine, warning us and above all it gives room unto our life to tap into the supernatural. Power is essential and necessary for the advancement of the kingdom, no longer theory and stories we used to hear of God healing, setting free the possessed but we are to walk in this power.
To us power is given
“Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.”

“(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)”

We are the body of christ, we are to follow the steps of the early church, true power in God to benefit us and the kingdom of God.

Steps to receive the Holy Spirit
God is always ready to work upon a heart that is ready to surrender unto Him
 “The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”

“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.”
  — Psalms 51:17 (KJV)
Repenting and believing on His name, baptism of water symbolizing the death of oneself and resurrection unto newness of life in christ then the exciting part comes up and its the baptism of the Holy spirit.

John the Baptist spoke about Him that baptizes by fire 
“I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:”

⁴ And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
 
The evidence of the spirit of God is Speaking in tongues, not by our own counsel or understanding but by the will of God.
It's important that believers pray in the Spirit for one:

²⁶ Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
²⁷ And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
The second major thing is that by speaking in tongues it becomes hard for the enemy to hijack prayers, the devil is old and knows every language and when we pray he can bring an answer that looks like what we prayed for but it's not according to the will of God. Prayers done in tongues are often fiery and penetrate the heavens for up at the atmosphere or according to Greek Ether its a place and realm by which the prince of air rules, he may block prayers, Daniel was resisted, Ephesians tells us about the principalities and different rulers. It is important that even in warfare the Spirit man does more than what can be said. At the resurrection of saints it will be the Spirit that will quicken us, those who have not it will not be brought to the wedding of the lamp, it's crucial and important that believers have it and in fullness of it.
May we seek counsel from God's Spirit, may we walk in it and thrive by it.

Serving Faithfully
