The Walk of Faith
It's no doubt that our life is a pilgrimage, we find a path to follow unto a hope that is laid up in heaven. This walk needs essential preparation and determination to see that one reaches the end. It's wrong for one to start a project and fail halfway through it,
Luke 14 (KJV)

²⁸ For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
²⁹ Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,
³⁰ Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
It's therefore important to put forth a strong faith and will to follow Christ, to leave all behind and look upon the son of Man.
“And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.”
— Luke 14:27 (KJV)
Today we are going to see the three basic things we need to have a successful walk that is pleasing to God.
Knowledge
Knowledge simply means to know or to be aquinted by information. It's important to know what God requires, what are His principles and what He hates. It's unpopular to get to church and hear a message about God's hatred for sin, therefore it's good to seek out Intel on your own.
The Word of God is the only way to get knowledge, Bible has all information we need and it's more advanced than any technology, it's the word and breath of God refined more and pure.
“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.”
— Psalms 12:6 (KJV)
As a man feeds his body then it's only right that one be filled with scripture and knowledge of the most High for it lays a road which we ought to walk in for guidelines and instructions it's displays unto us. Read more scripture and apply it, it will give one stability and foundation, for christ came to fulfill it, both law and the prophets.
Wisdom
Wisdom is another pillar we ought to strengthen, our minds need to be transformed unto the likeness of christ, it's the only way to make our minds better, it's more precious than silver and gold, its wealth untold, it's a gem of great value.
Psalms tells us a Holy fear of God is only the basic foundation of by which wisdom cometh
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.”
— Psalms 111:10 (KJV)
It's paramount to be filled by the counsel of God for it helps us make better choices, makes us grow, leads us to a more loving relationship with God and men, it's a pathway to many great possibilities.
“He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.”
— Proverbs 2:7 (KJV)
We live in a world where many are knowledgeable but lack wisdom and end up being fools, wisdom knows when and where to act.
Understanding
This is the ability to discern, intelligence, direct, perceive and be prudent. It's important that in this walk we have our third pillar which is understanding. We read scripture to get knowledge but need the spirit to get understanding. The deep counsels of God are to be with us by the grace of the Spirit, it will reveal unto us the mysteries of God and the situation around us. It gives way to find a solution to the problems in our life and others, it is therefore important to have knowledge, wisdom and understanding.
Knowledge helps us to know about something, understanding helps us to know how to handle it and wisdom when to apply it.
So go forth in the knowledge, wisdom and understanding in this walk of life, a pilgrimage worthy and pleasing unto God.
“For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.”
— Proverbs 2:6 (KJV)
“For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.”
— Ecclesiastes 7:12 (KJV)
“And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.”
— Isaiah 33:6 (KJV)
“In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”
— Colossians 2:3 (KJV)
