Blessed are the undefiled

“ALEPH. Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.”
  — Psalms 119:1 (KJV)
Blessed are the undefiled in the way who walk upon the way of the Lord, in this text we can come to understand that along the way men tend to be defiled by the many things of life, when they walk in the counsel of their mind. So we are going to see what defilement causes and what areas are affected
Defile - Means to be foul, contaminated, pollute or unclean.
Uncleanness can be subjected into three aspects
1 physical
2 Soul
3 Spiritual

Physical
The body is the host that sustains both the soul and the spirit, every realm has a rule that governs it and for this realm of earth it is important that to be of relevance one need to have a body. Satan entered the body of the serpent to trick man, Jesus Christ needed a body to be relevant on this earth, if He had descended from heaven in His God nature am sure men would have run from Him. God partners with men by His spirit to advance a kingdom on earth, Satan uses men to spread his agendas all over. So it is illegal for a spirit to operate on earth without a body. The body can be defiled by
- Illegal sexual relations which run from fornication to adultery, sleeping around unmarried is a transgression before society and God. In the book of Genesis we see Hamor defiled the daughter of Jacob
“And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, saw her, he took her, and lay with her, and defiled her.”
  — Genesis 34:2 (KJV)
Lev 18:20
This also brings the issue with soulties but we will embark on that another time.
Other things that defile the body include drugs and by the old customs certain meals...
The end of the matter is that the body is the temple of the Holy spirit and whoever destroys it God will destroy him.

Soul and spirit
I will combine these two since they are affected similarly,
“Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.”
  — Leviticus 19:31 (KJV)
Wizards, sorcery and witchcraft tend to defile the souls of men, all magic is darkness before the Almighty but unfortunately most men are easily beset by them. Zodiac signs, astrology are all condemned by God, so watch out. Another major point is in the Hollywood movies and entertainment, to cast simply is to lay spells around, to broadcast is casting out spells in large quantities therefore a believer should limit what he watches because the enemy works tirelessly. Most of our young generation are too lascivious and sensual caused by what they watch and listen.

Altars that aren't godly will be a snare upon unsuspecting soul, altars can be defiled and since they are a gateway to the spiritual realm it will give out what isn't right and it will fight you.
“Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.”
  — Ezekiel 5:11 (KJV)
I remember one day the lord warned me of my inner altar, it was defiled and He wanted me to turn back to Him as quickly as possible lest I suffer the consequences.
“My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.”
  — Ezekiel 7:22 (KJV)
Idols and anything we worship beside Jesus Christ too lead us astray

Then said I unto them, Cast ye away every man the abominations of his eyes, and defile not yourselves with the idols of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.”
  — Ezekiel 20:7 (KJV)
Egypt represent all foreign and unclean power and spirits. Men have taken their hope to principalities, rulers of high places, demonic entities ...

I have seen an horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is defiled.”
  — Hosea 6:10 (KJV)

In the new testament Christ speaks on what defiles a man
Matthew 15 (KJV)
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
¹¹ Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

 …
¹⁸ But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
¹⁹ For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
A defiled heart will bring forth wicked acts and its very important that we surrender unto the spirit to bring a change and renewal unto our lives for if our minds are corrupt then we will only bring deranged acts.
Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.”
  — Titus 1:15 (KJV)

The tongue is the biggest culprit and greatest defiler for out of it we curse and bless. Its the soul that empowers our body and therefore we can only utter that which is full in us.  “But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.”
  — James 3:8 (KJV)
Dreams can be used to defile men too, for in the night when you rest you're the weakest, the body sleeps but the spirit man needs not sleep. The soul can be easily manipulated by the enemy for how many have had sexual relations with demons in their sleep, or feasted with the enemy or did what was ungodly. In future we will speak more on dreams. “Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.”
  — Jude 1:8 (KJV).
There are times the scripture refers to our souls by the new clothes we were given at baptism which is a white robe that is symbolic to a wedding dress showing purity as we await the bridegroom Christ Jesus. In revelation “Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.”
  — Revelation 3:4 (KJV)
We are called to be pure and careful of our robe so as not to be cast out.
Matthew 22 (KJV)
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
¹² And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
¹³ Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
¹⁴ For many are called, but few are chosen.

A defiled soul will be a problem unless Gods mercy be upon us, zechariah tells us about Joshua clothing
Zechariah 3 (KJV)
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
¹ And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.
² And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
³ Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.
⁴ And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.

Remember to keep your robe pure by repenting and sanctification. Jesus Christ is the only one to sanctify us for he was undefiled “For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;”
  — Hebrews 7:26 (KJV)  that by Him alone we get sanctified by his blood and righteousness.
So as we end this its is important that we walk worthy of our call, being in readiness for His appearing and in obedience of His word.

Shalom and may God bless you.🙏🙏
