why enemies are important
Enemies can be used by God
— Genesis 37:28 (KJV)
This became a door by which Joseph was going to fulfill his destiny of being a prime minister in Egypt who saved the whole land during the great famine.
Genesis 45 (KJV)
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
⁴ And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.
⁵ Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life.
⁶ For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest.
⁷ And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.
Therefore without Joseph being hated and sold he wouldn't have become a savior for a nation and his family. Its those that didn't like him push him to the path of his destiny.
This also happened to the life of Hannah, without the pressure and redicule by Penina she wouldn't have gone before the Lord.
1 Samuel 1 (KJV)

⁶ And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb.
⁷ And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat.
⁸ Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons?
Penina pushed Hannah to the presence of God, to seek after Him and she did her part well.
Samuel the prophet was born out of this and became a vessel by which God did use mightly. As for the sons of Penina nothing is heard of them in scripture.
A third example happens to be in the new testament, the church at Jerusalem was centered together and it was against the will of Christ. During the great commission Christ told the disciples to spread the good news but they clustered together instead of spreading forth the gospel. God had to allow persecution at the church
“And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.”
— Acts 8:1 (KJV)
Acts 11 (KJV)
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
¹⁹ Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.
²⁰ And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus.
²¹ And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.
By the dispenation caused by persecution on church the gospel was brought forth to many nations.
Those that cause pain unto our life can be used to elevate us to new levels.
- A mean boss can be used as a tool to inspire you to start your own business according to the will of God.
- Fake friends who turn on you can cause you to make better and wise choice in future.
There at times people will push us to the urge of seeking Jesus in a more deeper way. So in the wisdom of His majesty He can use those that hate you to promote you to a better level.
