A way of a a blessed man
“The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.”
— Psalms 37:23 (KJV)
Since the dawn of age man has been given the choice of free will but all along the way we've been able to grasp the aftermath of everything both in virtue and frightening proportions. Men of old and so is some cultures of today tend to depend on their leaders for guidance and some look beyond the physical realm to the spiritual dimension. In this new age of spiritualism many of the millennials and generation z have opted to diverse ways to get direction from horoscopes, crystals, cults, fortune tellers and wizards and atheism.
But for a man to be blessed He has to incorporate the Ancient of Days upon his life. To surrender to the will of God is the first step to the path of true freedom. “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.”
— Psalms 37:23 (KJV)
Allowing Jesus Christ to guide us is always right since our own hearts are faulty and prone to deception.
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”
— Jeremiah 17:9 (KJV)
God gave us a manual to life and its the scriptures. Depending on it is the only way to live after the will of God. When we incline our hearts to the steps of God we get fulfillment in our souls, spirit and soul.
Our desire should be within the confinements of scripture and by obeying them the promises of the word become active in our life. Scripture offers peace, hope, a way in tough times and its the counsel of God.
“O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.”
— Jeremiah 10:23 (KJV)
Therefore lets learn to depend on God by His Word, when we wake up we should allign the promises of God to our lives daily, in each activity and in every situation. Prayer should also be incorporated with scripture to make it more potent, lets delight in the law of God for by it comes the joy and peace that never ceaseth.
“I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.”
— Psalms 119:16 (KJV)
“Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.”
— Psalms 112:1 (KJV)
